A total number of 6492 beneficiaries-children both between 6-23 months and 24-59 months, as well as 5840 Pregnant and Lactating Women were covered in the five wards during the July distribution phase.

Sequel to commencement of distribution, advocacy and sensitization was carried out within the five wards to keep beneficiaries abreast with most recent developments, procedures and standard practices that are essential in the BSFP process.

At each distribution point, a complain desk is provided with an officer assigned to take complains, feedback and observations from the community member to be addressed appropriately.

Since March of 2016, WFP has been working with local partners to address urgent food and nutrition needs of the most vulnerable people and communities in conflict-affected areas of Nigerian Northeast region
